Dr. Ishrat Jahan obtained her primary qualification from Bangladesh and later fellowship of the Royal Australian college of General Practitioners.
She has also completed “Diploma in Child Health“ through University of Sydney in 2013.
Dr Ishrat has worked in various hospitals in Sydney including Westmead, Blacktown and Auburn and later as a GP and VMO in Harden, NSW.
She has special interests in:
- Paediatrics & geriatrics
- Women’s & children’s health
- Dermatology & skin cancer
- Chronic disease management
- Occupational health & mental health
Dr Ishrat has been a mentor for medical students under John Flynn Placement Program while working in Harden, NSW from 2013 to 2017.
She is an avid reader and enjoys music and spending time with her family. Ishrat also speaks Bengali and Hindi.
